“I was born in the heart of the Kentish countryside and grew up loving my natural surroundings feeling a dedication to painting and sculpture from a very early age.

I gained a degree in Sculpture and Photography at Ravensbourne College followed by postgraduate teaching at Sussex University.

I have worked as a specialist pottery painter, graphic artist and for over 25 years and enjoyteaching students of all abilities from the ages of 3 to 85 years.

My experience in  schools and self-led  workshops have  developed my interest in multi-media work and the therapeutic aspects of creativity.

I love painting creatures and aim to portray their character in my interpretation of them.

One of the main aims in my work is to make people smile – there are sometimes hidden messages but usually happy ones... “
